#DementiaDo Training Session

Last week the team attended a great training session organised by TLC and led by Andy Tysoe from #DementiaDo. Andy was formerly a dementia specialist at the Countess of Chester hospital and gave us an amazing insight in to the disease and how we can all better support those people who have dementia.
It was a fantastic sessions, held at the Success Factory in Burwardsley and attended by all of the TLC team as well as other local businesses, health professionals and local residents.
Andy's thought provoking session inspired us all to make sure we tackle the stigma surrounding dementia and that we always look for the person behind the condition.
At the end, we were asked to write a small note about something we were taking away from the session, some of these can be seen in the photo.
